Sarah Harris underwrites government-guaranteed loans for Chatham Business Capital. Sarah’s primary role is to analyze and evaluate commercial loan requests, and then present her analysis and recommendations. In this process, she works directly with customers to understand their business goals, and determine if the request for funding meets Chatham Business Capital and the SBA’s eligibility requirements and other criteria. Sarah works across all industries as well as with various loan types, e.g., CRE purchases, business acquisitions, refinances, startups, and lines of credit. Sarah has been in the SBA industry for four years. She started her career at Live Oak Bank. She also has experience Closing SBA loans, which is beneficial to her work in underwriting, correctly structuring loans and avoiding issues during the closing process.
